Independent Artistic Interpretations
Information regarding artistic interpretation, historical and cultural subjects, third-party rights, custom sculpture projects, and handcrafted variations in works offered by Statues.com.
Statues.com creates and offers sculptural works for decorative, commemorative, educational, historical, artistic, and collectible purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, sculptures depicting historical figures, public figures, cultural subjects, symbols, landmarks, characters, or other recognizable subjects are independent artistic interpretations created or offered as works of sculpture.
Artistic Interpretation
Sculpture is inherently interpretive. Differences in pose, expression, proportion, color, texture, finish, scale, costume, historical details, and other visual characteristics may reflect artistic judgment, available reference materials, production methods, or the characteristics of the material used.
Images displayed on Statues.com are intended to represent the appearance and character of a sculpture. Because many pieces are individually produced, cast, finished, painted, patinated, or assembled, minor variations may occur between the photographed example and the piece received.
No Implied Endorsement or Affiliation
Unless specifically identified otherwise, the depiction of a person, organization, institution, brand, historical subject, landmark, or other recognizable subject does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, authorization, partnership, or affiliation with Statues.com.
References to names, historical subjects, organizations, places, or other identifying information may be used to describe the subject represented by a sculpture.
Historical and Cultural Subjects
Descriptions of historical or cultural subjects are provided for identification, context, and educational purposes.
Statues.com makes reasonable efforts to present such information accurately; however, artistic representations should not be interpreted as exact documentary or historical reconstructions unless expressly described as such.
Trademarks and Third-Party Rights
All trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, copyrighted materials, and other intellectual property belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance or reference on Statues.com does not, by itself, indicate that the respective rights holder sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with Statues.com.
Custom Sculpture Projects
For commissioned work, clients are responsible for providing or obtaining any permissions, licenses, releases, approvals, or other rights that may be required for materials, photographs, designs, logos, trademarks, likenesses, or other intellectual property supplied by the client for use in a project.
Statues.com reserves the right to request evidence of authorization or decline a project when ownership or usage rights are unclear.
Product Images and Handcrafted Finishes
Bronze patinas, bonded marble, resin, fiberglass, cast stone, painted finishes, and other handcrafted or hand-finished materials may naturally exhibit variations in tone, texture, surface characteristics, and coloration.
Such variations may be part of the artistic and manufacturing process and do not necessarily constitute defects.
